Roti panggang tak melulu langsung dipanggang begitu saja. Anda bisa mencelupkan roti ke dalam campuran hasil kocokan telur dan susu. Selanjutnya panggang roti dengan sedikit mentega hingga kecoklatan seluruh permukaannya.

Hasil : 5 Porsi
Bahan Membuat French Toast :
Roti tawar tebal: 5 lembar
Mentega, untuk menumis: secukupnya
Telur: 2 butir
Gula pasir: 1 sdm
Kayu manis bubuk: 1/4 sdt
Vanila essence: 1/4 sdt
Susu cair: 75 ml
Garam: sejumput
Butter: secukupnya
Madu atau sirup maple: secukupnya
Gula bubuk: secukupnya
Langkah Membuat French Toast :
Pencelup: Dalam mangkuk/wadah besar, kocok lepas telur bersama kayu manis bubuk, vanila essen, garam, dan gula pasir. Tuang susu cair lalu aduk rata.
Panaskan pan atau wajan datar anti lengket. Beri mentega secukupnya.
Ambil roti dan celupkan kedua sisinya ke bahan pencelup (sebentar saja).
Taruh dalam pan. Masak hingga kecoklatan di kedua sisinya. Angkat.
Siap disajikan bersama bahan pelengkap sesuai selera.
Celupkan roti ke bahan pencelup sebentar saja dan jangan direndam agar roti tidak lembek.
