Bahan Membuat Gulai Masin (indonesian Fish Curry) :
500 gr ikan tenggiri
400 ml santan kental
20 gr asam jawa, larutkan dengan air 30 ml
Bumbu Halus :
9 butir bawang merah
5 butir bawang putih
10 gr lengkuas
10 gr jahe
20 gr kunyit
1 sdt ketumbar
30 ml minyak goreng
Seasoning :
5 gr garam
15 gr kaldu ayam bubuk
10 gr gula pasir
Rempah :
1 lembar daun kunyit, ikat simpul
1 batang sereh, geprek
2 lembar daun salam
4 lembar daun jeruk
Pelengkap :
10 buah cabe rawit merah
7 gr daun bawang, iris serong
20 gr daun kemangi
Langkah Membuat Gulai Masin (indonesian Fish Curry) :
Making Gulai Masin.
Cut the mackerel into 2 cm thick pieces. Wash it clean and set aside.
Puree the ground spices ingredients into a paste.
Saute the paste in cooking oil with turmeric leaf, bay leaves, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Once boiling, add the coconut milk and bring it to a boil again.
Add the mackerel and stir gently.
Cook the gulai masin until the sauce thickens, or for about 25 minutes.
After the gulai masin is cooked, add the cayenne pepper, leek, and basil leaves, then cook again until wilted. Remove and set aside.
